Who We Are
Founded in 2018, JMP Quick Technology, LLC is a 100% veteran-owned and operated small business headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia. JQT was built on the principle that communications technology should serve the mission — not constrain it.
Our team brings together more than a century of hands-on experience across military communications, enterprise cloud architecture, and technical systems integration. We work directly with clients to develop practical, secure, scalable solutions that enable enterprise grade satellite, RF, and secure network capabilities to the tactical edge.
- 100+ Years of combined professional experience in RF and cloud communications
- 50+ Years of U.S. military service across technical roles
- Satellite Starlink enabled BLOS network design and deployments
- AWS Cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and managed services
- SDVOSB Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business
Cloud & AWS Infrastructure
JQT uses Amazon Web Services architecture to design, build, and deploy — specializing in media management and distribution, secure data routing, data compliance and management services. We design cloud environments that scale with operational demand and integrate with existing on-premise and RF infrastructure.
Custom Communications Solutions
Every mission has unique communications requirements. JQT develops custom-engineered solutions that span hybrid RF-to-cloud architectures, software-defined radio integration, IP mesh networks, and real-time data transport — tailored to your operational environment and constraints.
Secure Satellite Communications — Starlink, Starshield & AWS LEO
JQT is actively developing secure, high-throughput satellite communications systems leveraging the SpaceX Starlink commercial network and the Starshield government constellations. These solutions deliver low-latency, high-bandwidth connectivity to secure network infrastructure for field-deployed, airborne, and remote operations where terrestrial infrastructure is unavailable, degraded, or untrusted.
Integration with AWS cloud services enables fully encrypted, end-to-end data pipelines from satellite downlink to enterprise backend — supporting ISR feeds, command and control workflows, and tactical data distribution. JQT is also tracking the emerging AWS LEO constellation for future integration as that network reaches operational capacity.
Services
AWS Cloud Infrastructure
JQT designs and deploys scalable cloud environments on Amazon Web Services, enabling organizations to extend operational capability without the overhead of on-premise hardware. Whether you require compute, secure storage, real-time media distribution, or end-to-end encrypted communications pipelines, JQT engineers solutions that align with your mission requirements and budget.
- AWS architecture design, deployment, and managed operations
- Scalable compute and virtually unlimited cloud storage capacity
- Pay-per-use consumption model — no capital expenditure on hardware
- Software-defined radio (SDR) integration with cloud backends
- Secure, encrypted data pipelines from edge to enterprise
- Real-time media and telemetry distribution via cloud infrastructure
Mobile Ad-Hoc & Mesh Networks
Modern RF mesh radios are IP-capable platforms that extend your network to the tactical edge. JQT brings extensive hands-on experience across commercial and military mesh radio systems, enabling seamless integration between field-deployed nodes and enterprise or cloud-hosted infrastructure.
Representative capabilities JQT has implemented across multiple mesh radio platforms:
- Full-motion video distribution over RF local and remote networks
- Cursor on Target (CoT) and Android Team Awareness Kit (ATAK/TAK) integration
- Secure network extension to the tactical edge
- Voice and data bridging across disparate network segments
- Multi-node mesh topology design and frequency planning
Customized Training Programs
Generic vendor training rarely maps to real-world operational requirements. JQT develops mission-focused training packages built around your equipment, your environment, and your personnel — minimizing classroom time and maximizing applied proficiency.
- Legacy and modern military radio systems (Green Radios)
- Beyond Line-of-Sight operations, getting connected when forward deployed
- IP mesh radio platforms — configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting
- TAK ecosystem products — ATAK, WinTAK, iTAK, and server administration
- AWS cloud fundamentals for communications professionals
Note: Certain training engagements may require the customer to provide equipment. Contact us to discuss scope and logistics.
Equipment Procurement & Configuration
Navigating manufacturer part numbers, lead times, and licensing requirements for communications equipment is a specialized discipline. JQT leverages established industry relationships to identify the right equipment for your requirements and source it efficiently — whether a single unit or a small-scale deployment.
- Single-unit and small-quantity purchases
- Preferred pricing through select manufacturer relationships
- Cloud licensing and subscription management
- Requirements analysis and equipment recommendations
Satellite Network Integration
JQT designs and deploys high-speed satellite-based network architectures for organizations operating in environments where terrestrial connectivity is unavailable, intermittent, or unsuitable for sensitive data transport. Our satellite integration practice spans commercial, government, and national-security network tiers.
Low Earth Orbit broadband delivering sub-50ms latency globally. Suitable for enterprise remote sites, mobile command posts, and continuity-of-operations scenarios. JQT provisions, configures, and integrates Starlink terminals with existing IP and RF infrastructure.
Supporting customer's utilization of SpaceX's national-security constellation built on Starlink infrastructure with enhanced encryption, inter-satellite laser links, and controlled access. JQT designs Starshield powered secure network architectures for qualifying customer organizations and programs.
Amazon's LEO broadband constellation, purpose-built for native AWS service integration. As AWS LEO reaches operational capacity, JQT will design and deliver architectures that natively bridge satellite downlink to AWS compute, storage, and managed services — eliminating ground-station latency.
All satellite-sourced data flows through JQT-engineered AWS pipelines — encrypted in transit and at rest, routed through VPC-isolated environments, and delivered to authorized endpoints via secure API or VPN fabric. Ground-to-cloud latency is minimized through AWS edge and regional architecture.
- End-to-end encrypted satellite-to-cloud data pipelines
- Starlink terminal provisioning, configuration, and network integration
- Starshield-aware architecture design for government and cleared programs
- Multi-orbit failover and redundancy planning (LEO + GEO hybrid)
- Real-time ISR, CoT, and video transport over Starlink/Starshield
- AWS LEO integration planning and readiness assessment
- Field-deployable satellite kits for rapid operational standup
